Igor Dyachenko, President of Taishi Group of Companies, Executive Director of Russian-Japanese Business Council, took part in a meeting with management of Mitsubishi Corporation (Russia) and representatives of “Delovaya Rossiya” and Russian-Japanese Business Council which was held on January 23.
The participants agreed to exchange specific proposals and hold such meetings on regular basis.
Vice-president of “Delovaya Rossiya” NonnaKagramanyan spoke about the activities of business association in the field of cooperation with Japan which is one of the most serious directions in the international activity of association. She also outlined plans for bilateral events: session of Eastern Economic Forum, Russian-Japanese Business Dialogue, activity of the intergovernmental commission, etc.
Deputy General Director of Mitsubishi Corporation Yoshihisa Tachi presented the activities of Mitsubishi Corporation, development strategy of the company in Russia and spoke about the search for new approaches to cooperation and new potential projects.
Igor Dyachenko put special emphasis on the results in expanding bilateral business ties achieved recently. He also outlined prospective areas for cooperation and priorities of the Russian companies – first of all, organization of co-production in Russia, in particular, by using mechanisms of territories with outstripping economic growth, and export of products to third countries.
“Now we have a very favourable situation for development of cooperation between two countries. There is political will, there are a lot of business ideas, there is a very good dynamic of teamwork, there are constant meetings both at the highest political level and at the level of business representatives. Our task is to make sure “we are on the same page” and not to be late with proposals on actual joint projects”, NonnaKagramanyan noted.
